The Ask
The client first came into Statement Home because they were drawn to its aesthetic. They’d just finished the first round of interior renovations in their home, which was built in the 90s. In addition to coming in with fresh eyes to evaluate what had already been done and create a plan for furnishings, the client wanted help with exterior renovations. They had already hired a contractor but needed guidance on their selections.

The Outcome
We saw the potential of this house and identified the design changes required to transform it into a timeless home to be enjoyed for years to come.
To maximize curb appeal, we added stone to the exterior and put in a circular driveway to make the property more balanced.
In the family room, we replaced a stone fireplace with something modern and fresh, which immediately widened the aesthetic possibilities for the space.
This project is proof that it’s never too late to seek design help, even after items have been selected and big decisions have been made. In the end, everything came together for this client, and they now have a beautiful and cohesive home, inside and out.
