The Ask
Our client wanted to maximize seating space and bring more overall function to her rather small living room with awkwardly positioned openings and walkways. She also desired more color and personality in her kitchen and better storage in the landing area at the end of a hallway. Lastly, the compact powder room under a staircase needed a more efficient design that would feel special and beautiful for guests.
Designing functional and beautiful spaces is our speciality at Diel Design, so this project was a perfect fit.
The Outcome
Throughout all the redesigned rooms, we used custom storage solutions to fulfill practical needs and serve as focal points.
A custom bench paired with chairs and an ottoman optimized seating in our client’s living room without obstructing the path between doorways. Our signature vibrant colors connected the various spaces and brought this home to life.
